Jessica Loy is an accomplished graphic designer, painter and an associate professor at The Center for Art and Design at The College of Saint Rose, where she teaches graphic design. Ms. Loy lives in Delmar, New York with her husband and two children. The family shares an interest in environmental concerns and spend time hiking whenever they can. This is Jessica Loy’s first children’s book, which she hopes will inspire other families to learn to love the great outdoors.
All of the photography and illustrative work for the book was created by Ms. Loy, with the exception of the children's drawings which were a contribution by her two daughters.
Ms. Loy is currently working on her second children's book and is hoping to have the opportunity to create many more.
